April 30, 2014

GRAND RAPIDS − Six Hart High School students recently learned the importance of public speaking during Grand Rapids Mayor George Heartwell’s annual KidSpeak at Davenport University.
Three students − Norma Gonzalez-Buenrostro, Yolanda Gonzalez and Rek Luedtke − shared their thoughts about this year’s theme of D2 – Diploma to Degree, which focuses on college readiness, access and degree attainment. They spoke in front of a 30-member panel of state legislatures, local officials, college and university representatives and school board members.
