Pentwater Boy Scout camping for food

PENTWATER — Pentwater Boy Scout Troop 1145 will hold its annual 24 hour Camping For Food Non-Perishable Food Drive. The camp-out begins Friday, March 28, at 5 p.m. and continues until Saturday, March 29, at 5 p.m., on the Village Green. Area residents are encouraged to stop and donate non-perishable food items.

Each year, the scouts hold the food drive to collect non-perishable food items for those in need. This year they’re collecting for the Pentwater Community Food Pantry.

Those wishing to donate prior to the camp-out may drop off items at the Pentwater Township Library, from now through this Friday, March 28, during regular business hours.
