4 sentenced in 78th District Court

HART — The following are recent proceedings in 78th District Court:

–                Kenneth Herman Wegner, Jr., 66, of 615 Sans St., Pentwater, was sentenced March 10 for operating while impaired, ordered to Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail; and $1,040 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS) One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

–                Brandon Lee Chase, 34, of 9415 W. Grant Rd., Walkerville, was sentenced March 10 for disorderly person – jostling and received 90 days discretionary jail and $1,428 in fines and costs.

–                Dustin Jesse Henry Samson, 30, of 1055 W. McLean Ave., Flint, was sentenced March 10 for allowing a person to drive in violation and was ordered to 90 days discretionary jail and a $75 fine.

–                Daniel Neal Cole, 53, of 174820 174 Ave., Ferrysburg, was sentenced March 10 for operating under the influence of liquor, second offense and received nine in days in jail; outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to the SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
