Road commission celebrates 86th anniversary, stellar safety year.

HART — The Oceana County Road Commission recently celebrated its 86th anniversary and for being the recipient of the 2016 Goose Egg Award.

The County Road Association Self-Insurance Fund’s 2016 Goose Egg Award was given to the Oceana County Road Commission for achieving “0” worker’s compensation losses during the 2015-16 coverage year.

CRASIF commended the local road commission for creating a safe workplace and environment that protects its most valuable asset, its workers.
