GRANT TWP. — A female passenger was transported by Oceana EMS to Mercy Health Lakeshore Campus in Shelby following a rollover crash Wednesday, Jan. 7, at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Oceana Drive near Cleveland Road.
The male driver of the Ford F-250 pickup truck was not injured, according to Lt. Craig Mast of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office. The female received non-life-threatening injuries, Mast said.
No other details are available today. Deputies on the night shift responded to the scene, and the accident report will not be completed until Thursday.
A head-on crash shortly after 8 a.m. on M-20 just east of Oceana Drive resulted in the closure of M-20. Shelby Jaws of Life was called to the scene to rescue a person trapped inside a vehicle. The Hart post of the Michigan State Police will provide information about that crash possibly later today.
